Bag buddies? Just fast your fishes 2 days before shipping and you won't need any. I've had a dozen Jags sent to me in POOP water and they all lived somehow. The worst shipping enemy is the Shipping Carrier. Now that I write GLASS on all my fish boxes, I have better results, othewise they'll shoot baskets with your box.

If you write Live Fish, some idiot will shake it out of curiosity..."Hmm, I dont hear anything alive in here, D'oh"
 
I thought bag buddies make them calm and not go crazy popping holes in the bag? That was my purpose in looking for bag buddies.
 
petsolutions, bigalsonline as well as drsfrosterand smith all sell them. It also helps to starve the 2 days before ship like mentioned above.
 
i thought bag buddies are used in replacement of pumping oxygen into the bag?
