They are discontinued & (NOT) a very good product.
I'm sorry about your loss, but you should look into something better than bag buddies.
I'm sure if you really want them you can get them somewhere.
But I recommend Ship Shape FF 1 Kilo
or if you need to ship right away you can use a couple of drops of methylene blue to help keep the fish calm on the trip.
Also I recommend fasting the fish for 24hrs. before shipping.

I still use Bag Buddies but...REMEMBER they are not miracles pills from heaven. They are also not drugs that will calm your fish, trust me my fishes still thrash around. They will not provide oxygen that your fish will survive in.
Remember I said I had fishes sent to me 12-2" Jags in there own poop water and they live (Priority 2 days). DONT DO THIS THOUGH. Just fast your fish at least 2 days (fish will survive weeks without food), keep 75% of same water fish was in & add 25% fresh water. Also fish need AIR to live, so at most 1/3 water 2/3 air. I suggest 1/4 water and 3/4 air especially for big fishes. (I usually have water just over fish's top dorsal fin) but of course add a bit more for HOT weather.
Make sure to check Yahoo weather for the lows in the recieving City. No less than 60 degrees otherwise use a Heat Pack.

good news. actually 2 fish loss. One person said the fish made it fine. When I heard the 2 fish died from one buyer I assumed the 3 be dead too for another buyer because I packaged them the same way and they were the same size. but "no". 1 made it.
I shipped 2 fish via Fedex $75= 2 fish dead.
I shipped 1 fish via usps $36= fish made it
I've been feeling bad all day for the loss of lives I've cost.
Leave air but do i need to pump oxygen into the bag? Of course that's better but has anyone done it with out the oxygen? I didn't pump oxygen and the results above
Oxygen is not needed, but if you have it you should use it.
Kordon breather bags are your friends in shipping fish 3" & smaller. For larger fish you should use heavy bags with 2/3 water & 1/3 air/Oxygen.

PS: Also... shipping w/out bag buddies or any other shipping product is fine. They do reduce the stress on the fish, but it will not kill them not using them. Most important thing is temperature & Oxygen during the trip.

I just sent a 5" Male EBJD to Sandy all the way from California to Conneticut, all okay through USPS
I've been pondering about maybe making a "How to Ship" thread...hmm
