another LFS selling taiwan "man made" ones on left, ones right of divider labeled as wild. Left side fish easily took to pellets, right side fish ignored pellets but ate live put in immediately after.

80 and 120USD price differential.

It would be really nice if someone over here can get these fish to breed.

to the naked eye, the "wild" ones had a nice gold base tone (but so did the bagged "kels" in previous post which I'm pretty sure aren't the real deal). the "man made" looked more diluted, silverish gold.

but the "man made" had large gold speckle spots, pretty large proportionate to clear in color tail, where as "wild" had more color to the tail, stronger barrage overall but no spots.

significant difference in size though. wild are younger.

pretty sure with the number of kels brought in this year, one of you guys will be successful in breeding. Hopefully, then prices can come down to more reasonable levels.
