BAKKI style pond filter

Open the onboard side of the frame and pull out tray...

I've heard of people using feather rock and lava rock in their bakki showers. I plan on using crates stuffed w/ bio balls and pot scrubbers. I don't know how well it will work, but it's cheap enough to try.

I will. I'm moving all my fish inside from my pond. They'll be in a 300g stock tank. At that point, I'll be running a submerged pump in the tank to a BioForce pond filter for mechanicals. The discharge will go up to the top of the TT. For now I am just going to have it sitting right in the tank. Once I have a chance I'll move it all to be contained in a 55g drum. I'll probably post some pix in the "ghetto" thread when it's up and running.

I will be doing the media probably today or tomorrow...
I'm cutting the Mat into small chunks for under the floss on the first tier.


Also going to try different holes for the spraybar... either holes or slots...any tips?
