Bikers and skaters always clash.
I got kicked out of a skatepark for skateboarding a couple years back. THat was a bogus run in.
I was sitting on a bench at a skatepark about 30 minutes away from my town, and the cop saw my friend and another kid skating in the park and pulled up and just started demanding my name and info. I asked him if he saw me specifically skating in the park, and he just replied, "Police station is right over there moron!"
To this day I still don't understand how that is even a valid response to my question.
Of course he completely redeemed himself when he decided NOT to handcuff us (what a nice guy!) and left us with his final words of wisdom, "I don't mean to be a dick about it, but you all are banned from the park for life."
Apparently they should post a sign that bike night starts at 2PM on tuesdays. Whatever I am not going back on any night. I will just go street skating cops because you kicked me out of the skatepark

.
I have a lot of bad cop stories, but that one was just stupid.
I once had to be taken home to my house (which was down the street, I could see it from the parking lot) because someone called the cops and said there were skaters skating in the graveyard. I was skating in an empty parking lot when I was 12 with another kid who was 8 and another who was 7.
Seriously we were only skating there because it was flat smooth concrete and the place was closed. We were just trying to be considerate and not skate on our cul-de-sac and avoid traffic. It was a joke, I mean the cop didn;t even know what to tell our parents. He said no skating in school parking lots, churches, or graveyards (like it was in a rule book or something). We weren't even in a graveyard, we were in a parking lot.
Well...Oh well, what can you do ya know? Shrug it off, get over it. Keep going to school so you don't get stuck being a cop
