a 20 gal long is perfect and a 30 is fine as well..............balls are very inactive, you'll be fine for a very long time................A 75 gal is insane and a waste of space for a 18'' snake......

i have done over 12yrs of research. just because they are not particularly active and are shy doesn't mean they benefit from small enclosures, it just means they like their privacy and need to feel secure.
