I saw 3 of these at this not so local LFS about 2 or 3 months ago. They were 2.5" in size and on sale for $18 a pop. I wanted to buy 2 but only had $32 on me at the time and the store did not accept credit cards. Shop owner absolutely refused to go down even a penny and so I walked out mighty pissed off. Needless to say I've been kicking myself ever since 
These were some of the coolest looking fish I have ever seen, however $650 is beastly expensive and totally not worth it IMO

I think that's what they are.
650.00 is way too much though, lfs is just looking for a sucker.
My lfs has them often for 30$ each. Your shop owner has his head in his ass if he thinks someone's going to buy a genetically modified green terror for as much as a cheap asian aro.
Ok, maybe I mistaken and saw an extra zero at the end of the price. I'll have to go back and check.
The larger ones were about 7".
He did have smaller one's...about 1" for $20 I believe.
So does anyone know how these were created? If it's something like breaking their backs when young, then that would def alter my thoughts about getting one.
