Its not a cross(IMO), its there water that there breed in. (i read high zinc levels induce this condition)
i just bought one about a week agot at my lfs for 5 $. about 2 inches very round and cute nice color, does anyone now how big these get??
My LFS has a whole bunch of them at $29.99 each they were called round GTs though but im assuming the same and they were more round then that pic on the first page
I can't see a pic from the first post OP, maybe something wrong with my computer. Anyway I always wondered about the shape of my female GT she was always a little more "round" than the other females I originally had her with. she is over two years old now. Is that what you are talking about?
Mine is still small but has that general shape... Is yours full grown?

Yes, I think she is full grown. I'm about to move them to bigger tank so I guess we'll see.
