Banded Bamboo Shark

  • We are currently upgrading MFK. thanks! -neo
Gotcha. Thanks for the advice. As far as filtration on the 125, what would I start out with? Could I do the aquatop 500 with the UV turned off (since useless) to start out? Or should I try to find an old aquarium and make a sump out of it? Not a drilled tank I have.

Went to the LFS today, and they can indeed get in the sharky I want. So that's a go, unless they try to charge me out the butt when the time comes. Will have to ask when it gets closer on pricing.

Normally if its on their list they can order for their next ship.

thats what i thought when i got a list off them with eppie, wobbegong, port jackson, bamboo 23 sharks total me calling them to get told they all sold out but we do have a 90cm blacktip still lol thats to big for me thought stopsharkfinning got them sharks seen his youtube tank after that

Okay, I see that suitable tank mates (to start the tank off with) would include things like other sharks (no), rays (no), eels (don't want), and I also see some recommendations of tangs or angels, but of course size matters here. Also saw lionfish, but alas these are risky.

I have always liked angels and butterfly fish. Quite a bit. Thoughts?

What WOULD be suitable tank mates for it to grow up with?

Small schooling fish work best. Anything that tends to pick algae off of rocks will also pick at a shark on the bottom.
