Barramundi Fishing in FLORIDA!!!!?!?!?!

  • We are currently upgrading MFK. thanks! -neo
if u watch the video it becomes pretty clear why u need a guide. The guide really has it made because its not even his lake. Its a barramundi farm that he made a deal with to do this. He has exclusive rights so nobody else is allowed on the property. And plus he needs to be there to make sure nobody tries to sneak a fish out of there. Barramundi are ilegal in Florida unless you have a license, simply because as u can see they can easily maintain a healthy population in florida. I really want to do it one day just to say I have. But it iws pricy.

Still it doesnt make any sense why you need a guide in really small lake, you can just fenced around the lake and just patrolling around the lake. $800 for just two hours to catch 5 to 15 pounds silver bass that you cant even take them home unless its for dinner. Im not pay $800 for eat a fish. Ive seen pay pond has good prices but this pay pond is too much. Fun yes.

ur looking at it wrong. this guy is offering an opertunity for serious sport fisherman to catch barramundi, one of the most sought after sport fish in the world, without having to fly all the way to Aussie. its not about payin 800 bucks to eat a fish, its more about being able to experience something that would normally cost u thousands to do...

Sorry but thats stupid idea I ever heard. Come on $800 for just fishing a fish? I can go fishing for Florida largemouth bass, stripers, red bass and many cheaper monster fish for just $15 dollars than just barrimundi. That is like canned exotic hunting, you dont have to travel far.

Sorry, not buying it. But I also wouldn' t hunt for eland or wildabeast on a Texas ranch. I'm what most people call a "deep sea guide". People pay a shkkkk load of money to fish with me. Much more the 800 for 4 people. But what they aren't doing is fishing on a fricking pond that I can tee off across. These kind of canned fishing and hunting trips piss me off and spoil the "reel" experiance.

Awesome you and me have lots things in common. I attended the wildlife management at college and we have talking about that "trophy" hunting/fishing are hurting to the real meaning of hunting/fishing. Trophy hunting and fishing do not really help the wildlife management, they are destorying the wildlife management.

O i will definitly agree its lame as crap. If I really wanna catch barramundi ill pay the thousands and go to australia. But I am just saying that if people want to catch mundi n dont have the money. this is a good compromise...

But $800 for just fishing them in a pond....thats crazy and really ripoffs...so i dont see much good compromise.
