Basic CA cichlid aquascape

  • We are currently upgrading MFK. thanks! -neo
Wow. I actually think this is your best aquascaping nutty, which I know most will think as odd given your larger setups.

Nice to see someone else use the golden ratio ... the LFS guy was looking at me strangely yesterday as I was measure driftwood, muttering that I needed an 18" piece ... *lol*

Nice set up the tank looks great and the HRPs are perfect, great job.

I just saw this on your post. I was talking to a friend of mine the other day about placeing his center piece 1/3 from the end of the tank. One of the basic principels Roman arcatecture, perfect placement for the eye of the observer.

I love that aquarium! I'm so copying it for my angelfish tank. Thanks for making the video! And if you hadn't pointed out the "pepples", I wouldn't have noticed. Dyslexics of the world untie!

Thanks. Smaller tanks are certainly easier than when i take photos in my other larger two.

Thanks, i really enjoyed doing this aquascape in the small time it took. And as you point out, it makes a refreshing change from the 3d background based aquascapes. I've certainly got plenty more ideas in the pipeline.

Thanks, i only noticed the typo myself after watching the video a few times.

Forgot to add, these were a couple of other arrangements before i decided on the final one. They maybe of some interest if you prefer a little more wood. :)

Lee.

Very nice setup Lee. This is why I like having plenty of spare driftwood and rocks lying around, you just never know when you will get the urge to do some aquascapeing
