This is the best picture I can get as of now the Oscar keeps swimming away and im moving him out of the tank right now to a 15 gallon for two weeks so he can start to grow back a tail and get bigger so he doesn't get picked on

I minimized the picture for Better resolution but the turtle dock in the picture is 18" long by 9" wide and the proof is that the only dock zoomed makes in those colors is that sized dock

To the OP:

Please refrain from cursing, and please don't attack our members just because they don't agree with you. That is very immature. Listen to our members, if there is a strong consensus, and especially from our more experienced keepers, listen to them. We all start somewhere, and believe this or that from what we heard, or even seen, but the truth lies in what is proven, and tested.

TO EVERYONE ELSE:

Do not flame new or younger members. You want to know the reason MFK isn't what it was... it is because of posts like this entire thread. He is young, and naive, but given time and guidance, he would grow into a potentially great fish keeper, or even an ichthyologist. Your behavior towards him appalls me. Yes some of us had far more experience than him at that point in our lives, but some of us are more intense in our keeping, or started younger. Grow up guys, you are acting like more of a child than the one that actually is a child. Show him the way, teach him, but be nice in how you do it, and he will be much more receptive. I can't blame him for lashing out, based on your response. He is defending what he knows, just as any of you would do in a similar situation.

Side note, anyone posting flaming or rude remarks, on either side from here out will receive an infraction for every comment made.

If you can't agree to these terms, or can't help yourself but be insulting, then don't post.

Okay turtles are very messy animals. I do not now how big that kind of turtle gets. but you should have 10 gallons per inch of a turtles length. Please get some larger tanks for your aquatics.

You are right, I apologize for my comment.
When I first got into fish keeping I kept 3 oscars in a 55gal until I finally got on the Internet and learned why my nitrates were so high.
