Almost lost my xingu tonight. Literally got done feeding then all of sudden went belly up and had like seizures/choking. I added prAzi pro for the orino. Which is breathing hard. I grabbed the xingu and revived him. Super glad! Pulled through! Had him by the tail and moved him back and forth for 20-25mins till he could swim on his own. This how he looks now. Still recovering. Not sure if it was cause of the prazipro. All the other bass are fine.(except the orino)View attachment 1213055
Sorry for derail. Happy this dude didn't croak. I would have been done....

That's crazy. What were you feeding them? Was anyone doing any cleaning? Spraying anything in the air?

Id stay away from prazipro or any other chemicals. Peacocks are extremely sensitive to anything not water. I use prime and aquarium salt ONLY. Will never use any other chemicals its just not worth it. Just my 2 cents

I've had good results with prazipro and bass. Any new fish I get receives a standard 3 week QT and 3x PP treatment between weekly WCs. Ive done this ever since one of the azuls I got from Rapps in '11 died from gill flukes, so far so good.

If rays can tolerate prazipro, cichla can tolerate it no problem. I use prazi on all new fish and from time to time with no I'll effects.
