I fished an old school hula popper for years,always good for pulling up a big one but you gotta be patient.Banjo minnows were great but I havent seen them in years.Mostly spinners the past few years.I fish super light tackle with 6lb line.

Depends on weather conditions , water temp , and time of year .. but i never leave home without a brush jig , shakey head (Zoom Trick Worm) , spinner bait ,jerk bait and tubes . I like to cover the entire water column top,mid,and bottom . As far as color .. its usually Green Pumpkin or black/white if the waters muddy...

Favorite technique is Flipping Jigs for LMB and tubes / hard jerk baits for smallies

I have had a lot of luck catching striped bass with a white Zoom superfluke. They tear em up! Use a 1/4 oz. jig head when fishing in the lake and no jig head at all when river fishing. Guaranteed success!
