bass wont eat anything. Even live!

  • We are currently upgrading MFK. thanks! -neo
Good luck man. My guy is starting to put on weight after he took 1 massivore. He how takes about 6 pieces a day but he is slow and still doesn't have that pbass attacking instinct.

That is awesome you got him to take massivore. Hopefully I can get mine healthy again and get on your level. I will post updates on his status after I treat with prazipro!

Well here is an update and only some improvement. I started out treating him with prazipro (parasitic) for a week and nothing really changed. Did a full water changed to not mix medications and went to Kanaplex (antibiotic) for any bacterial infection. Nothing has really changed either after 2 weeks. He will slowly pick at small guppies to eat but still will not eat inch sized minnows and he is pushing 15 inches. It has been nearly 3 weeks and I have finally started seeing some feces that may help me. take a look at this picture. One looks completely normal but the one above it looks like an earthworm to me. Would this confirm parisites? Should I keep treating with prazipro? No idea what this could be. Thanks!!

Ok man One of two things is happening either the water Quality sucks Pbass will stop eating even live when Amonia and NItrite are present witch i would suspect if the fish was eating and healthy for a time Or you somehow got him ifested with internal parisites by having another fish in the tank for sometime that was infected Vermosil is very strong not sure if i have the spelling right but look it up on line you can still order in powder for it is also for birds again very strong at this point don't know if it would be to much but i think it's worth a try ......Hugh...

Thanks for the input! I have been battling this for a long time and have tried many things. I will look it up.
Looked up the correct spelling it is( Levamasol)

Make no mistake he is is sick treat him for external parasites first see if he recovers first .If not you will have to take it a step further and treat for internal parasites..Temp will help to speed up life cycle of parasites for sure ..most likely picked up a bug from some feeders just takes a while to show sometimes ..85 to 89 degrees ad airation also some salt for better Oxy transfer to the gills Good luck.....

use Coppersafe, man Treat these bad boys dont wait!!!

JUST AS PRECAUTION
also i would check your nitrates just went thru this problem with mine the nitrates will stress them and they will stop eating also take out ALL!!! food not consumed with in like 3 mins or so really high in protien foods will cause levels to rise just by themselves... good luck
