so whats a good foot print for 3-4? Am guessing a 8x6 won't be big enough?

Nope. 10x15 or a 15' round would work better, but even that would be tight as they grow up.

I have a local aquarium that keeps bat rays, Atlantic rays, and grey smooth hounds together and they do great. I believe they keep their tank close to the 62 degree temp. Envious of the tank they have... More like a swimming pool, oval tank 45'x25'x5' !
