I know this guy that has like 5 or 6 beardeds and once in awhile he takes them to the lake and lets them swim. I always thought it wasn't so good but I guess they don't mind.

Definitely not something I would try....at all

Yeah some big fish would certainly try and eat it.

I bathe mine once a week.I also run the sink water and cuff my hand under the faucet with the bearded in my other hand. They tend to drink the water that way a few times a month.

I dont know if everyone else should try this. After the beardie is done crinking i ad a small capfull of listerine to help kill bacteria and help with any odors. Then i only let him swin in this for about 5 minutes so he doesnt take to much in. Been doing it for about 5 years now with no ill effects at all. Anyone else do this?
 are you jokeing cause thats just as bad as the kid who feeds fries

my beardie gets a bath once a week..he hates it, and puffs up like a little beardie balloon and floats around the tub.. then when i drain it, i let the faucet run and he'll lap up some

For those considering putting their beardie in a lake: Don't.

The lake is too cold for the lizard, beardie's are not good swimmers, and you do not know what is in the lake. (Other animals or chemicals) Also, you should never introduce a captive animal back into the wild.

All around, not a good idea...at all.
