Batik Jardini

  • We are currently upgrading MFK. thanks! -neo
Nope I believe that is a nami green, which is an Asian aro. Ops is a jardini with a very, very rare pattern which is why you dont see them, its kinda like a colour morph.

That picture is actually a Batik Aro from Myanmar.

How can you be sure? I always thought that Nami green and Myanmar batiks were the same? Sorry for the derail op

I think it's just names given from different regions/farms

Maybe the pic is a familiar pic that's how they know.

I'm pretty sure both are the same species just given different names for the market.

The basic body/head shape and scales of the OP's aro are clearly of the jardini, not a Nami or Batik or any other asian aro. A close-up shot of the scale will confirm what type it is.

Nikond70s, you should be banned with the avatar (and the location!) like that lol

Yah.....don't understand how topic keeps heading back to asian arowana again and again....LOL

Definitely a Jardini....

The word Batik meaning "ornate" on the scale pattern

Really all I wanted was to see some more like this.......Is this the only one around?:screwy:

Man I wouldnt want there to be others because yours really unique. How is this guy with tankmates, aggro as most jars are or more mellow?
