Easiest way to tell the difference is the number of rows of scales. This on pictured has 5 rows as all asian aros. The OP's has 7 rows as all jardini have.

How big was it when you first got it? Has the patterns multiplied since then?

I've had him for a year now.....he already had the pattern....I haven't noticed much in pattern.....he just got bigger and fatter...LOL
