Doing water changes
So I need to get another tank I am tired of these small tanks I need to go MONSTER I am looking for a acrylic tank thats atleast 240
8'x2'x2' or a 300 8'x30"x2'. But the thing is these places are qouting me some ridiculous prices like $2300 for a 240 with a stand without overflows Ive gotten better qoutes then this but that are in my budget but that was the highest so far. I am wondering where you guys buy your new tanks what stores in what city I am willing to travel up to 100 miles or more from san francisco if its a good deal. I know to look on craigslist but they usually dont have the tank size i want and if they do they want brand new price for it and then this one time I did find one we agreed on price and everything he told me as is and wouldnt fill it up to make sure there were no leaks so I use craigslist as a last resort. I got about a $1500 budget just for the tank and stand so if any knows a good spot and wants to send them my business let me know.

How much more than 100 miles?

How about a 300 gallon acrylic for $999.00

It is far, but its the best I've found in CA so far. I'll be borrowing a flatbed from work and taking a trip down there this summer.

When are you planning on going down there? Cause if its soon Id be down to tag along and split transportation costs with you and help you set up as well.

Probably not until around the end of june or early july, not exactly soon........ I'm not quite prepared financially to upgrade again yet.

Sweet website...I would be down to go with you guys as well.

Love that they guarantee the lowest prices or its free AND that fact that they actually sell a 45,000g tank!!! MONSTER!!!

Thats a great idea, I have always planned on just borrowing a truck from work, but we could just as easily rent a huge uhaul and fill it to the top

a dollar a gallon is always nice...glass or crylic?
