I have bought dozens of tanks from TruVu (directly). They are good people and great tanks. Those are the ones I was talking about being built in Hayward. A humble facility but awesome tanks. I plan on rekindling my business relationship with them soon.

Yeah I was checking there website and a 180 with overflows and dual fixtures for $1216 with tax and shipping.

And a 240 same as the 180 above with everything would be $1491.

the sad thing is ive gotten qoutes for the same tanks through dealers for less. Its like airline tickets you dont go to the source you go to someone else to get a better price. I never could understand why when you go directly to the source its always more.

A Bay Area MFK mini meet sounds like a good idea!!!

If we can get enough people together we could do a fish shop tour through the city and visit 4 or 5 shops. Then have some beers! lol

What stores do ya'll hit at a Bay Area MFK meet?

Doesnt really matter to me. We could do the usual fish runs...

6th Ave.
Hung Ming (both)
Aquatic Central
etc.

Whatever you guys want. :) Another thought would do a meet at Steinhart. Hardest part would be setting a date.

Well I would love to take you guys to Aquatic Specialties and Pets (A.S.A.P.) but being that they are wholesale only they do not allow me to bring other people in. I've tried, and got yelled at. They are an importer in Hayward. This is where the pet stores get their fish from, and let me tell you it is AMAZING! A pet store on crack. They have 12,000 gallons of freshwater and 7,000 gallons of salt water. No frills, just fish. And the priaces, forget about it.
