Just be careful with letting them eat off the bottom. My black aro developed scare tissue on it's eyes, I believe it was from her scraping her eyes on the substrate.

The aros are not very elegant when they take the food from the bottom ... looks very awkward. Heheheh my silvers do not usually let the food reach the bottom... very tricky to feed the poor stingray at the bottom (gotta throw in alot of food so that some reaches the bottom lol)

I don't usually let them do that...they are just PIGS...it's not like they need to eat off the bottom, I feed them first and 3 Arows eating 12 prawns or a handfull of pellets or a talapia fillet or 1/8 lbs of ground beef heart you'd think they'd leave the catfish meal alone...:grinno: They are now approx 13,14 and 15"...

your gonna be scratching your head in 3-4 years when u have 3 water chihuahuas who eat more then you do. i scratch my head every morning, then toss in some pellets/shrimp n sit down n enjoy! keep up the good work
