lumpers vs splitters

I do understand that the aqua-log book is not the bible and is out of date now but what you need to take into account is that when that book was publish their was not much info about and not many websites around to hold decisions on this

As the aqua-log book was the only book around of it's kind people were using it a reference book so when importers or sellers got rays the 1st place they would look to ID a ray would be the aqua-log book now some of the IDS in that book maybe wrong but at the time people didn't know it was wrong

The 1st ever p14 I got was labeled a small spot henlei even after telling the shop owner I think it was now being called p14 he refused to admit it wasn't a small spot henlei

Back to topic I still think that BD is different to Leo and if you look way way back on MFK you will see I had a BD before most people even knew what it was and pointed out the difference like belly spotting

I would still like to hear from anyone who can confirm that BD do get bigger than standard Leo as I have been told.that they can reach a disk size of 30 inch +

Thought reg Leo could get to 30"+ too?

Does a Henlei with spots around the edge of the disk get a different name to a Henlei that doesn't have spots around the edge of the disk?

David W said in a previous post that blondes are the same species as brunettes....I find this hard to believe as blondes have cost me a fortune over the years and brunettes much less so.
