BD Pup has sunken nose

yea, im thinking water conditions as well.... were you the one just talking about a poss pregant female, and how they stress when you do water changes? probably from fluctuating ph, from a crash in the system.
 
Had this exact scenario happen to me. 26 days later it was over. Go into stress reduction mode. Separate, no lights, small daily water changes, live food like Blackworms or ghost shrimp, no major fluctuations in water chemistry. If that doesn't work after 3 days then prazi it.

Im going to bring the tank back to the way it was. Originally it was only 2 pups. now there are 3 pups and a single tiny datnoid. Going to do another water change tonight. Also going to put on a bigger pump on there. all this change was made in the last 3 weeks. about 2 weeks ago around the time i got the 3rd pup, my damn pump died. it was an aqueon quietflow 6000. did 1585 gph. I didnt get a replacement for 2 weeks and i had to replace it with a smaller pup, a deep blue triton 6 rated at 1380 gph. This new pump is trash. I bought this pump cause kensfish is always sold out... gonna prob go 1600 gph standards. and i will start using safe when doing water changes again. i dont know whats going on with this tank. ive tested the water parameters, and they seemed fine. The nitrates are now around 5. and she still seems to be having an issue.gonna remove all the fish i added that week which is just a marbled pup and a single 2 inch datnoid. and will probably move them into my pearl pup tank... then also going to add prazi pro again in 3 days. I am getting quite annoyed and i cant afford to lose anymore rays. It must be my water supply. i cant think of another reason why my tank would be doing this.

Kinda sounds like your not cycled properly..... 5 nitrates is very low for a ray tank... i know we all want to get nitrates down, but unless you changing tons of water every day, a nitrate level of 5 seems off to me.

I just did a water change. Prob why my nitrate is low... And I have pothos... This tank I am 100% sure it is cycled properly
