i too would like to see how long they last!

I wish it was separate plugs for the blue and white for night lighting option.

Funny thing is, this is my only legitimate complaint. Either 2 plugs or built in timers would have been nice. However the lights that feature this are usually 4x the price.

Well I finally quit being lazy and finished the canopy chris (Paulbearer) built for me. I got the lights hung with brackets I made. I staggered them 8" (each light off center by 4") With this plus the additional 12"ish height from the canopy I was able to achieve 100% coverage with 2x48" lights. Hope you guys like! Thanks for looking. Any questions feel free to ask.

This pic gives me relief because now I know the 36 inch light will be plenty for my 75

Looks great josh and now onto my bamboo build lol

Would you mind possibly posting a couple pics of how you mounted the lights up in the canopy? I've been looking at getting these lights for a few months now, but you're the first with a writeup on them that actually features some decent comparison photos. I'm either going to go with these lights or a DIY rig featuring CFLs. I like this look a lot though, as I want a mice white light. Any opinion on how these lights would compare to, say, a full spectrum (6500k) CFL bulb?

I will answer these when I get off work this evening. The more I look at these lights, the more I love them. I can actually get good pics of my fish now.
