Beamswork LED's

Hearing some of the stories here is exactly why im skeptical in dropping big money on an LED kit specially created for planted tanks...

If anything happens to the light that could mean $5xx+ down the drain especially if warranty runs out...

At least with traditional kits you can still maybe change the bulb relatively easily...

They have those at my LFS. The prices are fair, I have faith in Aqueon quality and I like the colormax bulbs they have. I'm tempted to go for those, but they're a bit more expensive than the beamsworks.

I saw these to and was wondering as well. They didn't look like there were many lights per bulb/strip which I was disappointed in. I would love some if they put out enough light.

From what I have seen on youtube, the Aqueon LED seem to put out a fair bit of light, and the Colormax module option is nice. I think that the day white LED in the center (which the fixture comes with) and a Colormax on either side of that, and this just might be the LED fixture that I've been waiting for.
I'll definitely be trying one out as soon as one of my current lights needs replacing.
 
I just received my 48" beamswork led here are the stats.

Fixture Size: 48.00" x 5.00" x 1.00" (Add 0.65" in height with bracket installed)

LED Count: 174
900 Lumens
Super energy efficient .06 watt LEDs
162x 10,000K LEDs
12x Actinic 460nm LEDs
Use 11 watts

I love the light it is really amazing but i looked today to buy another and now they have a new 48" for 10 bucks more.. here are the new stats.

Fixture Size: 47.75" x 5.00" x 1.00" (Add 0.65" in height with bracket installed)

LEDs Count: 174
3900 Lumens
Super energy efficient 0.2 watt high output LEDs
162x 10,000K LED
12x Actinic 460nm LED
Use 38 watts
 
I plan on getting a REEF bright LED soon. I had good experince with the two 36" Fresh water LEDs also had a Reef bright LED from them on my 35 and it support everything !

So I plan on getting a REEF BRIGHT for my 125 FOWLR tank, mainly because I liek the light it puts off and I might get some anomes for the clown or some soft leathers going to add a bit to the tank.
