Beani or Grammode?

  • We are currently upgrading MFK. thanks! -neo
Man Ruck, I still love that white beani. That thing is awesome! I'd have to get another tank to get both, :D Would a 75 work for either one of them actually? I have a spare one laying around.

Here is my 7" male he has only grown 1 1/2 inches in about 8 months. Probably one of the smallest fish in my tank with one of the biggest attitudes.

Neither fish is a quick gratitude type fish, you buy them to keep them, if you are just looking for a fish to post on the boards, neither fish will be cool for long.

Both fish are very nice, a grammode is like a mini dovi, a beani is a whole different fish.

Thanks man. I'm not just looking for a fish to post on the boards. I ain't got that kind of money, :) I miss my big midas that I used to have and am looking for a replacement.

I actually have better success with beani's in a smaller tank. My "white" beani is in a 50g grow out tank right now. Easier to treat if and when they get sick and you could do more water changes too.

A 75 g would be perfect for a male grammodes.

I don't think you will like a Grammode over a Midas. A Midas makes a great wet pet with personality.

I have my small midas still, two of em actually. Just looking for something else also I guess. My old midas I had, I bought five all at the same size at the same time and he outgrew the rest and killed everything in the whole tank,:irked:
