And you posted 2 fish 4 pictures. Asuming the bottom one that is white youre addressing. It does loo white when it's just pist off. But when normal how it look?

Well that confuses me because Rapps had Panucos and they were called white Beanis. Im for sure on that because I bought one because of the label "white beani". I didn't keep it because it turned gold.
Ok so im going to order 8 @ 2-3inches and im going to keep the male I like the most would 8 be ok in a 55 with tons of hiding places plants annd with limited lighting

That's how it looked when relaxed/not pissed and that's the fish I sold Lopaka (same fish)
55 is going to be too small for 8 grow outs. I ordered a male from Dan COA and is doing well in a 40g tank by itself. I'll post a pic when I get home.
But on the website it says min order on 100$ so I figured I had to spend 100$ on fish

Lots of info here and im a little late to the party, but I raised a batch of beani and lost none to bloat; just aggression kills.
Ruck Fules actually currently has my last female I had from that batch that I gave him (that ive been trying to ask back to raise for fun but he won't respond to me for any given reason
)
I followed all of Duanes info and they were raised just fine. I will say, however a big impact that made a difference to my beanis health was the use of probiotics.

Now im raising their cousins, the bartoni, and they seem much hardier and just as aggressive, but color up much smaller and mine are currently breeding. Hericthys are awesome IMO
