well id say it depends on the price and hypo that you want to get... get a orange pastel hypo:drool: ... probably about 80-125 for one of those... ive gotten babies for 25.. sometimes 50 just depends on who it is;)

I just got mine (an adult female) for free and it seems to be comfy in the 3' longX 1'wideX 20"high. But I do plan on getting her bigger one because the one shes in now is in not that great condition

it really depends on what you want to do with them. if you are just looking for a beardie to have as a cool pet and dont mind having a normal colored one, you can get away with less than $40.

if you are looking for a beardie in order to breed, they can be significantly more expensive, as you're usually looking for a solid genetic history (no inbreeding) and being able to trace it's parents, gparents, etc., several generations. also, the coloring come into play big time as far as cost goes, normals are cheap, hypos and bloods are expensive (upwards of $150-$200).

pet store reptiles tend not to be very healthy, just like the fish, they're kept in poor conditions, and you're told information from a lot of people that have no idea what they're talking about. the best option tends to be to go to a reputable breeder, a bit more expensive that way, but you'll also end up with a healthier pet. :)
