yupp

get a glass tankk

id still say to go for a plywood tank with a sliding glass front. you can build one for a heck of a lot cheaper than buying even one of those plastic cages. say you wanted to go to a really large size, like 8' x 2' x 2', you could get away with around $150 in cabinet grade 3/4" plywood, add in another $100 for glass, maybe another $50-100 for screws/nails, and polyurethane, and you have a cage a lot bigger than the vision cage. the main benefit with the visions is that they're plastic and light weight. but if you have any diy spirit, i highly suggest building your own. you could also try using melamine, it's a little less expensive, and has a protective layer on it, but it is very heavy and i have doubts about it standing up to the heat that beardies actually need to be able to bask (105F-110F).

here's a few different ways you could build one:

whats polyurethane?? does that like seal the surface or something???

does it stand up to cleaning and disenfecting well?

and can it handle the harsh environment in the enclosure the bearded dragon needs?
