magpie I know you love yours, I haven't kept reptile s in over 20 yrs so could use an assist


Cool side basking side, feed insects dusted in calcium... What else ?

Tank is a 40b light is uva/uvb/heat combo.

No veggies or veggies when young ?

Do they need to be soaked in water...read it on the net...if so how often ?

The boy named him Godzilla lol not very original I know.

How many hrs a day do you run the heat lamp?

That was for a Uromastyx the Bearded may not be bad on the electric bill.

I strongly recommend dealing with josh's frogs for supplies and info. I keep lots of poison dart frogs and deal almost exclusively with josh's. They carry reptile stuff too. They are super helpful and even put out YouTube videos on animal care. They'll steer you right on feeding and all that stuff. If you call them, they are very friendly and answer any questions you may have.

I had a uro when I was a kid. Was great used to hang on my shoulder for hrs during poker games

Ahhh...they're good on something's, but they have some misinfo out as well. Example: Recommending sphagnum between your substrate and leaf litter which makes a soggy bacterial mess that can cause foot rot. Also totally sealed enclosures which is a way out of date practice from days of very little info on darts. Myself and others have also received mite infested FF cultures which they did correct. They do have some helpful vids out, but some bad info as well.
