They didn't really have a basking light for them. They were all huddled up and not moving much. One did a bit for I left. I'm getting the tank from them though for $55 because they are doing their $1 per gallon sale starting Sunday. They did have one good looking Water Dragon that was following me as I walked by the tank. Still not sure what I'm getting, depends on what I see in Eugene tomorrow.

Chrisplosion;4421327; said:Thats what I was thinking. Other than that do they look ok? Probably to hard to tell from the pic. None had any old pealing skin on them, the Iguana they had did. So why couldn't you house a male and female together?
Richie_ELP;4421363; said:I'm sure they are fine, they looked nice and fat. Iguanas are a lot of work and money to own.
I cannot house them together because they breed like nobodies business. He will rough them up and wear them out fast. The darker beardie is a female german giant. She's laid 42 eggs before. Much larger clutches than a regular dragon. Should I chose to breed her, I would prefer to keep her strain as pure as I possibly can. Very often she is mistaken for being male. So, I named her Butch.
Richie_ELP;4421461; said:it takes a dragon 12 months to reach adult size. I would just build something. Or, if you want the tank to last longer than that, I think a 75 would be a better choice, because it is wider. Regardless, 2' should be allowed for width. It cost me a 100 to build one enclosure. The choice is yours.
