Bearded Dragon won't eat HELP PLEASE!

Jason, that wasn't an insult to anyone with the sand bucket. Its just an exaggeration as to how hardy beardies are.

Yes, sand impactions DO HAPPEN! I acknowledged that. But however hardy beardies are, the majority of beardie keepers are still lacking in husbandry, which will in turn weaken the beardie and leave it suspectible to problems a normal dragon would laugh at. Ie: sand impactions. Notice how breeders in the books such as Bob Mallioux (sp?) of Sandfire keep beardies on sand/dirt without problems. Those guys keep beardies in tip-top shape and the lizards are nearly indestructible.

Lol, my dragon tried to eat some tassels off a blanket once! xD Glad I stopped him though. He wasnt in the best of shape back then and wouldnt have fared too well if he ate it.
 
is she fat or real skinny,thin like a pancake?does she just lay flat with head down or will she raise up like alert?can she move her back legs ok?Im just tryin to see how bad she is at the moment.
 
Thank you for caring!! My passion is with my fishies and somehow I got sucked into reptiles (not complaining, they really grow on ya) and she has really crept into my heart. I just hope that there is something that i can do for her. Oh and by the way, until today she has not had any artificial plants in her cage

the females i bread were from sandfire,i used to call them often but its been so long,if they still have a number posted and you get more desperate i would try to call them.the most common problem i had was keepin the water bowls full,they loved bein misted and it sparks them up to drink,some of them dont get the bowl thing and will only drink when sprayed until they learn,just make sure yours learned,im sure you know by now.
 
more like a pancake, moves around just fine. She is not paralized if that is where you were going with that. Her "basking area" is a large flat rock with access to a heat rock as well. She holds her head high and is very alert to her surroundings as well as the occasional stray crickett that twitches behind her rock/branch
 
wil she move toards that cricket,mist her head with luke warm water from a clean sprayer.they love it once used to it.they normaly start lickin the heck out of it and then try to find the run off to drink that.
 
i almost for got,mine would perk way back up if they got alittle sun light,i think its very important for them,dont let it overheat but please try to give her some sunlight if you dont already.
 
ok, was feeding time at the baby tank, just wanted to say thx for the info and I will keep updated on her progress...hopefully with how well she is doing. I will take all suggestions into consideration and see what happens next
 
You won't need to fix anymore problems if you prevent them. FIX YOUR HUSBANDRY! A healthy herp can heal from practically anything and come from near-death starved to an animal in its prime in a matter or weeks. FIX YOUR HUSBANDRY. If the problem still persits, see a vet! A sick herp in a healthy setup is a major problem! Herps are super hardy, and usually you wont see a problem until its knockin' on heavens door. But thats likely not your situation, you just need a major boost in the husbandry department.

:) Try that book I recommended as well.
 
i personaly wouldnt wait for that,however i would do that but if it hase parasites from feeders it can be hurting it worse each day,you never know,the vet will though.
