Bearded Dragons...Current Cage and the future one...?

  • We are currently upgrading MFK. thanks! -neo
Yeah i thought about the eye level thing too...its going in the next revision. The stuff inside the cage is just kinda a placeholder to give an idea of space. My beardie marvin climbs in his vines and sleeps there, so i know exactly what you mean. If you all can think of anything else, please let me know

have multiple branches under the basking lamp at different levels so he can adjust to where he wants to be according to the temperature
so if the first branch has a temp of 120 then another at 100 and one at 95 or so will offer him optimal heat gradiant for proper growth and digestion
also don't worry about night time temperatures unless they are dropping below 65 as a good drop in temperature is fine and it usually is not by much when you have a custom enclosure

Well I am building it all enclosed, with vents that can be shut to help mantain temps, since in south dakota temps can drop at a moments notice. I've tried the multiple levels, and marvin really only has three spots he likes...right under the lamp, in the vines on the far side of the cage, or floating in his pool/bowl...

What do you guys think now...? 3 Feet off the ground :D

that will look really nice, especially if you set it up naturalisticly.

Well I will set it up as naturalistically as possibly, with slate tile floors...haha :nilly:

I'll probably cover the whole back of his cage with vines, as he seems to love climbing in them. A friend at work says i should get potted plants to sit on top the whole bookcase to make it look even better...?
