Wolf Cichlid in a 72 gallon tank-no I don't think that would be a smart idea Dovii get to two feet and are really mean-I had an Achara Cat that was twice the size of my Dovii and it almost got killed a Dovii alone needs atleast 240 gallons.

Okay am I missing something here the OP is asking for mates in a 72 gallon tank yet people are recommending Devil Cats and TSN-I really think that is a bad idea
1. Devil Cat are crazy aggressive
2. TSN need atleast 300 gallons plus

My p.niger ate two of my oscars. If you buy a catfish there is always a good chance it will eat your fish.

that really hard to believe seeing my p. niger is 18" and his mouth is really small it might open up to the size of a coin dollar. unless your's was ginormus and the oscars were fry.
