Beautiful 'white' freshwater datnoid. ID Please!!

  • We are currently upgrading MFK. thanks! -neo
As you may know they can reach +18" but grow rather slowly. From what I've collected if you get one to 6" in the first year you've done a good job. Growth slows with age and one in a 125g should be good for quite a while however you'd be best upgrading to keep it growing. Imo tank depth is better than height if you ever upgrade from a 125g.

that is a very skinny 3 bar indo / IT

oooops sorry dont know what came over me then for a min that is a very very nice fat IT / indo go grab it dont worry if its not eatern for a month

50/50 if they stay stable. I would probably walk away as it looks a bit skinny.

If you want the indo go and buy it. I'm not sure why T1K wrote the post above and i agree it is a little sarcastic, i'm sure it's not aimed at you though.
As for the fish it is skinny. That means it could have not been fed properly or it's got problems that you don't know about.
Ask the LFS if they can put it in a tank of it's own for a few days and start feeding it, give them a few bucks if they don't have the correct food in stock. It should go for live ghost shrimp, or feeders without problem. I wouldn't recommend the feeders but as a last resort just to get it eating it might be the only way. I doubt they're feedingh it correctly if it's in a tank as you described and is an odd fish they just happened to get in a delivery.

I wrote it because i have been told not to say anything bad about any fish posted so they are all great not a bad fish on the forum
