Anyone ever tried the Sam Adams Summer Beer. I guess Sam Adams releases a beer that is treated more like a wine. This past summer, a bottle went for $100 - $150. It was 50 proof (I think), came in a distinct bottle, no carbonation, and was limited. I just read about it in the Food section of the news paper and was curious if any of you beer conessuriers tried it. And how was it?

Ive had the Sam Adams limited triple stout. No carbonation, thick *** beer it only comes in a blue 9oz small bottle. I love the porters and stouts for cold weather, Pilsners and Ales in the summer OR any kind of beer at any time. :naughty:

Sam Adams Utopias is more like a cognac. I've never had but I have had alot of beer. My favs are Guiness Draught, Three Floyds Dreadnaught, Mad Hatter IPA, Becks, Sam Adams Boston Ale, Goose Island Honker's Ale, and Delirium Nocturnum.

I've never had Victory's Golden Monkey Tripel, but here's their website w/ details about their beers and distribution:

I've brewed a few batches of beer before, but now I primarily focus on drinking store-bought beer. I generally prefer hoppy beers over malty beers, but I make an exception for Guinness Draught. :)
