20" is only 2" more than the width of the tank. Not too bad in my book.

No offense, but thats like saying, well this apartment is small and the ceiling is only 2' foot lower than your overall height when standing so it shouldn't be a problem for you to live here all your life...

So I really like the Midas, are there compatible tank mates that would work? I've heard cichlids are pretty aggressive.

The bichir is also on my list to further research. Would this kind be more suited to solo tank life, or are they more mild?

you could do a lima catfish, bullhead. could do a community eartheater tank. just a few oddball ideas.

Sorry forgot to throw in the Puffer option... in a 125G you could go with a school of South American Puffers in a nicely decorated tank...

I live in Hong Kong and have an office in China... And although some flats maybe small the ceiling is always at least 8' high...

So no matter how you look at it you can stretch out any which way comfortably, but the aro can't ;)

dont get a cichlid or any big fish once you get one of those you are obligated to it and cant get any smaller fish if it will eat it. get small baby fish that you like first, let it grow, then get a monster. SA/CA cichlids grow fast so you have to plan out when to get your other fish.

lolol rich boy. my cousin works in china, he makes 3k a month. rent is 1.2k for a small apartment under the stairs of someone's building. and the "apartment" does not have 8 feet ceilings. my mom is 5'2 and she said she had to bend down to use the bathroom.

tell me the consequences of keeping a jardini in a 135 gal for life.
