peacock eels will eat the shrimp
morymids are going to eat the shrimp if they can fit them and will all outgrow that tank eventually.

farlowella would be a fun option but they do get rather long.

ide look at some of the smaller pleco species. maybe something like a long fin albino bristlenose?

Morymids, such as an elephant nose or dolphin. Very peaceful, but, feeding can be a challenge!

Exactly what I was going to suggest. My dolphin is AWESOME. I could see him potentially trying to eat shrimp and maybe like ripping their legs off or something, though. Elephant noses would be safer, but dolphins are way cooler.

As to what MonsterMinis says about their growth, some mormyids wouldn't outgrow that tank. And frankly, my dolphin grows so damn slow I can't even tell if he's bigger than when I got him. But he eats like a little vacuum.

Wow tough one dude. Most of the things i thougt of would be ok with ur fish but eat shrimp. Peacock dugeon? If you consider that an oddball. Xray catfish, kuhlii loaches, but these arent considered oddballs i think.

Well, my tank is 138 L, and the measurements are 73 cm x 41.5 cm x 45.5 cm. Thats the measurements of the Length x Width x Height. And I'm in Indonesia, and I don't know if some of those fish are available... *sigh*

Gentleman, have we lost our edge? Do we truly have no other answers if we cannot answer catfish, arowannas or bichirs?

You have a delicate tank, with gentle souls throughout, most oddballs are beasts...MOST...I would suggest looking into a nice grouping of schooling glass catfish (Kryptopterus minor). Really unique, interesting, love planted tanks (java ferns) and to be in groups...might be right up your ally. They are from asia and should be available to you. OH YEAH! What a tip! I'm awesome.

one of those small puffers? a rope fish, upside down catfish

They will grow large enough to threaten shrimp, though.

The small puffers or rope fish will definitely eat some of the other inhabitants.

Also I misread the OP. Thought it was a 38g tank. So most mormyids would probably be big for it, yes.

the challenge is the CRS.... most the oddballs that would fit eat inverts lol. but everyone loves a challenge! where is the Monster Mini thread? a nice compilation of tiny monsters and majority are oddballs.
