it's ridiculous here too... only place i've seen that sells em they were 4"s for about $75 each
 
I think that's a great price. Wish that was the minimum any around was to be sold at. At least this would help keep lots of people from buying who shouldn't be owning.

Ha! Why am I not surpised at this response... You would think thats a great price.
 
Hell in des moines they go for 150 bucks at that size.
 
Prices here run from $350 AUD at 4" if you get them straight from the couple of people that breed them to $1000 for a nice 24 incher.
 
It is crazy to see all these price variations for the same fish. True, the higher the dollar amount will hopefully land the fish with a more responsible owner, however this is just one example of the outrageous prices the store has. They are not overcharging for the sake of the fish. ALL of their stock is pretty ridiculous. The 4" SA is what stood out to me the most, so that is why I posted it. Even their prices on accessories are crazy.

Or it may doomed the aro in the LFS tank for the rest of his life... Like you said, it could go both ways. Which way do you think it will go?
