Yeah I apologize for seeming rude, it's just that 2 types of people I really dislike from experience in gyms etc are bouncers and bodybuilders. I have found they are generally moronic, insecure, macho pricks. Yet the fighters I have been friends with, amateur and pro, have by and large been totally cool.

If you bodybuild for a hobby, personal challenge etc, then excuse me - good for you. It's purely that the type of lifters I've known have been absolute cocks.

I used to train at a boxing gym that was underneath a big powerlifting gym, and they were all rude, arrogant ****s.

To be honest the only people I've welcomed a fight with in my adult life have been body builders and bouncers.

Double word... I have noticed the same thing going to the gyms. It's not everyone and I'm not trying to stereotype them all or anything, but most of the bodybuilders/powerlifters I've run in to have been huge pricks. That is, unless you can lift more than them... then you all of a sudden have their respect.

totally understood.you must go to a gym with opposite personality.
and go beat those arrogant bb's and bouncers for the worlds sake.:naughty:

o and fa shizzle dizzle word

I tried to lift for the fist time in years the other night. It was very depressing actually. By my senior year in highschool I was 5'8 repping 185 and maxing in the 275 range at only 145lbs. I put 135 on the bench and and bout blew an o-ring by my second rep of ten. :( By the way I weigh 187lbs now.

I guess thats what five years of complete inactivity will do to you... :(

2 year bump! lol

i rep at 200, dunno how much i max, probably a little over 300

it seems like i didnt know how to quote back then
