It's not on the glass, it's an algae bloom in the water...

1) Reduce food to the tank
2) Reduce light to the tank (make sure no direct sunlight gets to it)
3) (optional) Install a UV sterilizer.

Algal bloom is often a result of too much lighting and excess nutrients. What plants do you have in your tank? They may help outcompete the algae for nutrients thus algal bloom can be avoided.

Fast growing and undemanding species will work effectively enough to outcompete the algae for nutrient consumption. Use hygrophilas, water wisteria, duckweeds (this is a very annoying pest to begin with), vallisnerias, elodea and hornworts.

i see. I misread. My bad.

That sucks. I know it can sometimes look cloudy if your carbons are old... but yeah wonder what the algae are feeding on.
