Best and Worse Comic Book Movies!

  • We are currently upgrading MFK. thanks! -neo
yea this is old news. I've always been against using an actor of different ethnicity to play a character. like elektro isn't black but they are using Jamie fox. I like Jamie fox so I may be ok with it as long as he plays the role well. but I usually don't like it when they do that.
Yea, I do too. Also by the picture I posted, They are mutating him too.

There's a rumor going around that they are going to turn Spiderman g@y in 3 and Mary Jane will be a man.

I hate it when they keep making sequels and bring back same villains. it's like, cmon, there are soooo many villains to choose from, stop recycling villains.
Goblin is suppose to show up towards the end of 2

but I don't get how you would like the spawn movie so much. it was really horrible. it was way too rushed. they kind of did a decent job sticking to the story but it was all around bad. the acting itself wasn't too bad but the script was very weak

with today's advancement in cgi and stuff, they really need to redo spawn
I'd rather they don't and bring out other Movies. There are still alot of other Heroes out there.

I agree on the point of changing the race of a character when brought to the screen...They did it with Nick Fury...they went from a white guy with a little gray hair to a bald black guy with a goatee lol...I remember there was a S.H.I.E.L.D movie in the nineties and none other than David Hasselhoff starred as NIck Fury.

yes I know about the hasselhoff being nick fury, lol

they also used Michael Clarke Duncan to play king pin in dare devil. I like Duncan but yea, I hate it when they do that

borg, in the comics, spiderman is black (or could be Cuban or something like that) and is a homosexual. but it's a spiderman from an alternate universe

To be fair, the movies just followed the comics on that one.

Well it was the Ultimate comic run, which I think is one of the several hundred thousand alternate universes. I get lost sometimes. From wiki:

"General Nicholas Joseph "Nick" Fury is a fictional character first published by Marvel Comics. Originally an Italian American colonel with graying brown hair, Nick Fury was redesigned to look like actor Samuel L. Jackson with his permission ..."

So, of course, who else would they get to play him in the movies? As it turns out ...

Okay...wasn't aware of the comic change.Did they do that with Kingpin as well?...and,not a comic movie but something similar was pulled with Charlie's Angels.

No, Kingpin was/is always a huge white guy. I didn't even want to watch Daredevil at first because of that change, even though I'm a MCD fan. Turns out, he was the best part of that film and now I wish I never saw it for reasons totally unrelated to that switch.
