Best betta tank!

I have them in most of my tanks, nothing bigger or meaner than angels. The only problem I've ever had is dwarf frogs, they like to bite and hang on to the tail for a ride...that beta got himself his own home now.

Heres my 10g with 5 bettas... One male and four females. I also have two snail and two albino bristle nose plecos.. I know its a bit over crowded but I do alot of WC's and my params are always good :]

I never realized how much personality a betta had until I put them in a big tank. There awesome little fish :] DITCH THE BOWL!

My opinion on that is it depends on the individual fish, but general, yes I agree males should not go with females.

I do have a pair that live together with no fighting or anything. They breed when they feel like it.

Mine live together just fine.. The only thing the male chases is the plecos...

my daughter keeps her betta "lightning" in the fluval spec.
he does not like it when the filter is on though. so everytime we have the filter on i would have to put him in a cup and place the cup on top of the tank.
