i wouldnt put fry with a goldfish being that he will most likely eat them and they will die cause of the cold water

I've kept them with just about any cichlid other of similar or larger size n temperment but if you intend to breed keep em alone I found they might not spawn in a crowded tank

If u do 5 they will pair up and bully the other ones.... males don't get along..
