I agree and also a rtc is completely out of the question unless your planning a huge pond, and if your going to upgrade,id go bigger than a 6x3 footprint.

Steve
yeah there should be a larger footprint just for the rays alone. and if that print is big enough, then itll be alright for LSN's or a TIG.

Very first post "I figure in this 150 I'll have another year or so before having to upgrade to a 6" X 3" footprint tank for the ray. I know Redtails get too big too fast, so that's out."

I guess a smaller LSN it is then. (I'll give the ray a head start on the race to full size :D) Thanks

marbled achara cat's look sweet, and have a good temperment and only get about a foot and some change
Who told you that? Marbles can easily grow to two feet in just a couple years, and will usually max out at around 30". An adult marble at only 12" would have to be severely stunted.

Good advise!......take it!
Its possible to grow one from 4 inches to 18inches in a year and a half!
They are a peaceful cat with anything not bite size but can be very nervous.....need a big tank with not too many ornaments to minimise the possibility of damaging themselves if they suddenly bolt.

Good luck getting food to the ray with a TSN.

Irwinis work flawless..... Not too aggressive, rays can't chew on them, they come out slow so they basically clean up after the ray instead of competing with them.

I agree. Irwinis are more docile. And TSN gets way too big, too fast.

hello everyone, this is my first time posting and really using this awesome website. that what i am trying to set up my 360gal tank tigrinus, tiger shovelnoes, and rays.
