best cichlid community you ever had or still do

  • We are currently upgrading MFK. thanks! -neo
actually the red devil is the nicest in the tank, he does not bother anybody it just depends on a fishes personality , the most territorial fish is the largest synspillum who in time will tell if i sell him, but the other 2 synspillums are super nice

4 fish in a 275g, they'll be fine. Make sure you put some rocks or driftwood in there for hiding spots. In my 150g I got a pair of cubans, 3 red Texas, 1 Lyonsi, 1 female festae, 1 black belt, 1 argentea, 1 vontehillo carpintis, 1 jaguar, 1 small gt, 1 small salvini and 2 plecos.

can we get pics of your tank it sound good

I have a 265g with a 6" female Trimac and the rest are all males including 10" Festae, 9" Black Belt, 10" Melanurus, 7" Dovii, 5" Grammode, 8" Argentea, 8.5" Red Devil, 8" Midas, 7.5" Xilo, 10" Red Isletas, 9" Red Tiger Mota, 8" Bocourti, 10" Green Terror, 9" TSN catfish and a 12.5" Granulosus catfish. Most of these guys have been together for a year and I have almost zero aggression issues. Every once in a while I'll get some chasing and what not, but never much and nothing to be concerned about. It works for me, but you never know... luck plays it's part, ya know?? Good luck.

I have a 150g with a 4.5' female festae, 7" female gt, 8" male gt, 8" midas, 4" argentea, 7.5" red isletas...

Ill be attempting a Cichlid community tank soon with a Pair of Sajicas, a pair of Firemouth, maybe a salvini, and 5 - 10 Beunos Aires Tetras and maybe a pair of Bristle nose plecos in a 90 gallon. :D

dont flame me but i find it easier to do a community with a overstocked tank because aggresion really spreads out and so far my 180 g is full of 3-6 inch fish and no deaths here is the stock list, also all fins are perfect, but what you have to do is remove all the aggresive fish and everytime i have a super aggresive fish i sell him and replace him but so far i only replaced 1 mean texas but he was 7 inches big , dont hate me but my fish are all healthy and thriving , i just have lots of hiding places
