I'll put in a vote for tetracanthus. Good adult size for your tank as well as stunning patterns and coloration, both when normally swimming around and especially when in breeding mode.

Yeah I really like them too, I’ve narrowed it down to 4 but can’t decide, it’s between tetracanthus, lyonsi, tiger motas and green terrors

He’s lovely I think they might be my top choice, were they personable

Yes I would say about as personable as most large CA cichlids. Not as crazy aggressive as most amphilophus, but still got some attitudeand will beg for food, etc.

The species you have narrowed it down to, are all great choices tbh
