i have a JD pair to the males about 5.5-6inch and females about 4.5 they've been together for 4days and are quite close.
heres my stock list:-2xjack dempsey,1xgreen terror, 2xjags(only 2"), 2xcon, 3xsajica, 3xtho.ellioti and a green texas.
these are all small and only half will stay.

1 question, how do you fit 2 xp3's on your tank, mine has the corners taken out but the wouldnt be enough room, iam talking about spray bars btw? is the any other way of spitting the water out and takes less space?

As recommended by 12 Volt Man, I use the power jet nozzles. I originally planned on using the spray bars, but am glad I went with the jets. I have them pointed slightly up and they create great surface agitation.

I have both intakes about 1"-2" from the back corners, and the jets are right next to them pointed crookedly towards the front. In essence, this creates two circular flows. I don't have any overflows or anything so the corners are free.

Good luck with the setup! Let us know how it turns out.

BTW, your stocking seems pretty sweet.

Scrap the Fluval internal filter and go with a powerhead driven Hydro5 sponge filter...Less cost...about the same size...more water flow...WAY better bio-filtration and a SHIP load less maintance headache. (I recomend powerhead driven over air driven because you want a very quiet tank.)

This has never been an issue with me...I've been a bass player for 30 years and my home stereo has 2400 watts RMS per side...in other words I'm mostly deaf....LOL
