I think I'm gonna get a couple of fry from same parents and try different foods, surely that will show a difference If there is any?? Thanks for the adviceJdmxluv;4462578; said:for my flowerhorn i use A-Life and XO Humpy head. the cost is about the same as the hikari cichlid gold. and to be honest it has shown progress over few months or so. to be honest it doesnt really matter what you feed it but there are food specialized for flowerhorns that will help improve the color size, etc. but downfall is it all comes down to genetics. if the parents have big head and bright color, chances are most of the flowerhorn fries will have that trait. and specialized food only helps to give it a little boost.
